French Postcard Exchange

December 31, 2025 By //  by Ashley Leave a Comment

🇫🇷 Bonjour from Hilltop!

Our campus at Argyle ISD brought a little French flair—and a whole lot of heart—to our Multicultural Event, and it was a tremendous success.

Hilltop Elementary proudly represented France, inviting families to create “Postcards from France” to send to a real first-grade class in France. (A huge merci to my friend, Tuula, an American travel writer turned first-year teacher abroad, for partnering with us!) Families practiced fun French phrases like bonjour, comment ça va, merci, and au revoir before snapping a photo in our French-themed photo booth. 🇫🇷📸

We can’t wait to receive the postcards back from France and display them on our Friends Across the World bulletin board—a celebration of global connections, cultural curiosity, and friendship across continents. 🌍✉️

We had so many teachers and staff who helped greet families, guide students with postcards, and bring the magic to life. The energy and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable.

Grateful for our community—and proud of the global learning happening at Hilltop! 🌟🇫🇷
